Marlette Regional Hospital Welcomes New Dietitian ~ Marlette Regional Hospital is pleased to announce Kris Kreiner, BS, RD, will be serving as a dietitian nutritionist and community educator for the diabetes self-management education program.
Kris received her Bachelor’s Degree in Science – Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Baker College, and has six years of experience as a Diabetes Education Coordinator. No stranger to the thumb, Kris has lived in North Branch for over thirty years and has worked in the thumb region for all of her Dietetics career. Kris enjoys working with all age groups regarding nutrition education and is looking forward to serving the Marlette and surrounding communities.
The diabetes program at Marlette Regional Hospital provides individualized consultations, diabetes self-management training, and continuing education refresher courses in an effort to help patients feel confident in their ability to provide self-care. The program is staffed with a certified diabetes educator/registered nurse and registered dietitian.
