Marlette Regional Hospital does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, weight, height, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, or on the basis of disability or age in admission, treatment, or participation in its programs, services and activities, or in employment.
If an employee feels he/she or any patient has been discriminated against or harassed on the basis of his/her race, color, sex, or other protected category, he/she should contact the corporate compliance officer, so that an investigation may be initiated in accordance with Marlette Regional Hospital’s policies and procedures. A patient who feels he/she has been the subject of unlawful discrimination or harassment is encouraged to contact the Marlette Regional Hospital social worker, who will then refer the matter to the appropriate personnel for investigation.
