Long Term Care Parade A Huge Success

Long Term Care Parade A Huge Success ~ We were blessed and extremely grateful for the beautiful day for the Long Term Care Parade last Thursday, May 21st.

Residents were decked out in hats/masks and positioned for social distancing as they anticipated the start of the parade. The staff and volunteers followed safety protocols as they lovingly assisted each resident. There were lots of waves, shout-outs, virtual hugs, tears and smiles along the parade route. Everyone enjoyed their time in the outdoors in the sun.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Carol Roberts LTC Activity Director, Patti Leonard, LTC Director, the LTC staff, volunteers, family members of residents and community members who drove the parade route. Approximately 75 vehicles were in the parade line.

Visitor restrictions remain in place for LTC unit and the hospital to ensure the health and safety of all.
