Marlette Regional Hospital is pleased to share that Kimberley James, MSN, FNP-BC, board-certified family nurse practitioner, DOT certification, has joined our medical team and will be working in partnership with, Daniel Kulick, DO, and the staff of Kingston Family HealthCare.
Kimberley (Kim) received her advanced nurse practitioner certification from Chamberlain University College of Nursing. Kim Is a familiar face around Marlette Regional Hospital and the healthcare offices. Before pursuing her nurse practitioner certification, she spent time as an RN in our Emergency Department and as a population Care Coordinator for the Healthcare offices. Kim has also received special training in wound care management and spends 1 day a week treating patients at Marlette Regional Hospitals Wound Care Clinic.
When away from work, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and kids ages 3, 7, and 13 and has recently welcomed a foreign exchange student from Thailand into her home. Family is important to Kim, it’s what inspired her to pursue Healthcare. Kim shares, “healthcare has always been my passion. My mom has been an EMT for 30 years. I want to be the person my community can count on to provide extraordinary care just like my mom. As a patient, I want someone to listen to me. I will always take the extra 5 minutes to listen to my patients, it’s important to me as a provider and a community member.”
Kim James provides primary care medical services to patients of all ages. Kingston Family Healthcare will be hosting a Meet & Greet with Kim James on Monday, October 24 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Kingston Family Healthcare. Cider & donuts will be served, and we will be hosting a costume contest! Community members of all ages are encouraged to dress up in a Halloween costume! Children dressed in costume will be entered into a costume contest, with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning movie package prizes!
