MRH AUXILIARY DONATES TO DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING & NUCLEAR MEDICINE

MRH Auxiliary Donates to Diagnostic Imaging & Nuclear Medicine ~  Marlette Regional Hospital would like to express a sincere thanks to MRH Auxiliary for their generous donations to the Diagnostic Imaging Department and Nuclear Medicine services at Marlette Regional Hospital. The MRH Auxiliary conducts fundraising efforts throughout the year for the sole purpose of enhancing the care, and comfort of the patients we serve.  Auxiliary members presented the department with 2 new bariatric wheelchairs, a knee cushion bolster, and an antibacterial wrap.

The wheelchairs received from the auxiliary are being put to good use for both inpatient and outpatient guests using all Diagnostic Imaging modalities. Department manager, Becky Vislosky says, “We have already received many compliments on our new chairs.” The knee cushions boulters are designed to help during Nuclear Medicine exams that sometimes require patients to lie on their backs for an extended period of time. Becky Vislosky continued, “This cushion is designed to help alleviate some of the discomfort in the lower back and provide more overall comfort.” In addition, the new wraps provide a way to help keep Nuclear Medicine patients’ arms close to their sides for certain imaging; they are easy to use and sanitize; and most importantly, they help patients relax during the testing process.

Please join the MRH staff and patients in expressing our appreciation to the MRH Auxiliary for these generous donations and faithful support.
