Our PARTNERS IN HEALTH spotlight this week focuses on our Marlette Wound Healing Services team that helped this patient from diagnosis to treatment of her non-healing wounds.
Carol Weiss of Marlette has had such great success with our wound clinic the first time she needed care that she has recently returned for treatment of her non-healing wounds. Carol first came to us back in June when she presented to our ER with an abscess. Our wound care physician, Dr. Sarah Albers, was working in the ER that day and referred her to the clinic. Most recently, when Carol developed another abscess, she once again returned to the ER where Dr. Albers was working and referred her to the clinic. Seeing a familiar face who knows you and your health makes the care that much better! Carol shares that the wound care team is awesome and very personable. She adds that our clinic is one of the best around—don’t go anywhere else!
