Mid Thumb Bowmen Archery Club Donates to United Hospice Service

Mid Thumb Bowmen Archery Club Donates to United Hospice Service ~ The Mid Thumb Bowmen Archery Club based in Brown City, MI recently held their first annual 3D Archery Fundraiser to benefit United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital.

Brown City senior and archery club member Alyssa Burgess approached the Mid Thumb Bowmen Archery Club board members with the fundraising idea and spearheaded what turned out to be a very successful event to benefit the local hospice program. The event enjoyed participation from 25 archery shooters, many of which were children that are new to the sport. Many local businesses also supported the event by donating items for a raffle.

On behalf of the Mid Thumb Bowman Archery Club, Jim Davis, Tanya Murphy and student Alyssa Burgess recently presented United Hospice Service with a donation of $1,555 that will be used to financially assist patients with their hospice care.
United Hospice Service extends their thanks and appreciation to Mid Thumb Bowman Archery Club, Alyssa Burgess, and all of the patrons that supported United Hospice Service at this event.
