Brown City Days Memorial 5K Walk/Run a Success ~ Over 100 Thumb Area 5K enthusiasts from near and far headed to Brown City on June 9th to take part in the 5th annual Dr. Michael Ogboh Memorial Walk/Run sponsored by Marlette Regional Hospital. Within the first 20 minutes of the race, first place runner for the men’s division was Danny Jones who crossed the finish line with a time of 18:35 followed by first place female division runner Alesia Johnson with a time of 25:17. Race proceeds totaled $3,000 for United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital. Marlette Regional Hospital is grateful for the on-going support of our local community to help commemorate the life of Dr. Ogboh.
