North Branch Family HealthCare Supports Local Athletes ~
Marlette Regional Hospital and its family health care offices offer $10 sport physicals each year in an effort to help local athletes prepare for their sports season at an affordable price and half of the proceeds are donated back to the schools’ athletic programs. Over a 3-day offering during the summer months, 254 sport physicals were provided by Dr. William Starbird (pictured right) and family nurse practitioner Anita Schierlinger. These local health providers presented a $1,270 check to North Branch High School Principal Mark Hiltunen at a home football game this past fall.
