Abigail Kaufman Awarded MRH Nursing Scholarship ~
Each year, the Nurse Practice Council of Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) offers a scholarship opportunity to MRH employees pursuing a nursing degree or additional nursing certification.
This year’s $500 scholarship recipient was Abigail Kaufman of the acute care unit. Abigail has been an employee at MRH for over a year and currently works as a competency evaluated nursing assistant (CENA) in the acute care unit. Abigail is currently pursuing her nursing degree at St. Clair Community College and expects to graduate in May 2019. Coworkers have commented, “Abigail is an outstanding example of the mission, vision, and values of Marlette Regional Hospital. She is kind, caring, and compassionate to patients and coworkers alike.”
The Nurse Practice Council would like to thank all of the applicants for this year’s scholarship and invite you to join them in congratulating Abigail for her commitment to providing exceptional patient care at MRH.
This scholarship is funded through the MRH Nightingale Fund, which was founded to support children’s education in the community as well as support nursing education at MRH.
