You would not expect people from Wisconsin to schedule appointments at a Marlette blood drive, but that is what happened at the August 3rd drive at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marlette. For the past seven years, Kris Klein, Kimberly Williams, Chuck Bretl and Kandice Bretl have a tradition of finding a blood drive while on their annual vacation. They donate in honor and in memory of their late father LeRoy Klein, because he required many blood transfusions during his 6 year battle with cancer. They expressed their sincere appreciation to the 45 individuals who gave at the Marlette drive in August.
Up to 3 individual lives can be affected by each blood donation and one of those people could potentially be a member of your family. Give the gift of life at a drive near you!
