During Marlette’s Dog Days of Summer Festival, Eddie G’s restaurant hosted their annual bike show with musical guest “Big Dog” Fetters in support of United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital. Over 80 bikes were on display and 20 riders registered to win the bike show trophy. Guests were invited to vote for their favorite bike by donating money to hospice, and the bike with the most cash took home the trophy. Eddie G’s would like to thank Leslie and Roger Ballard and Al and Vickie Gould for organizing the show, along with Ryan Lambert, Deb Chard, and Jim Clothier for grilling great food for guests. Pictured on behalf of Eddie G’s is co-owner Eddie Gerstenberger presenting United Hospice Service Volunteer Coordinator Madelyn Huffman with a donation of $550 that will be used to financially assist patients with their hospice care.
