Marlette Community Garden Invitation

Marlette Regional Hospital is pleased to announce our Community Garden project. We have been fortunate enough to partner with many local businesses and individuals who have an interest in bringing a Community Garden project to our area. The Community Garden project will be located behind (west of) the main entrance to the hospital just north of the parking lot.

We invite you to participate in adopting a garden plot. There is no cost to you, but you will be expected to care for your garden throughout the growing season. Seeds, water, and tools will be provided at the site for you to use. We will also have “green thumb” experts available if you have any gardening questions. At the end of the growing season we plan to hold community classes on how to prepare fruits and vegetables for fresh eating, and also classes to demonstrate how to can or freeze the produce so you can enjoy it through the winter months.

If you have interest in having your own garden plot, please contact Brooke Stafford at 989-635-4002, and she will get the paperwork and registration forms forwarded to you. Space is limited so don’t wait. Come take part in the Community Garden and help make our families healthier!
