Marlette Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of board certified orthopedic surgeon James Kosiur, DO to its medical team as well as the opening of Dr. Kosiur’s new practice United Orthopedics. With practice locations in Marlette and Sandusky, United Orthopedics is a shared endeavor of Marlette Regional Hospital and McKenzie Health System, affiliates of United Healthcare Partners.
Previously employed at Allegan Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Allegan and as an independent orthopedic surgeon in Grand Rapids, Dr. Kosiur specializes in total hip and knee replacement surgery as well as shoulder rotator cuff and ACL repairs, ankle surgery, hand and elbow surgery, and trauma repair.

Dr. Kosiur completed his orthopedic residency at Park Lane Medical Center in Kansas City as well as medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Science in Des Moines, Iowa and is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Oakland University in Rochester Hills.
