The diabetes education program of Marlette Regional Hospital and McKenzie Health System invites area diabetic patients to take advantage of an enrichment event that can assist them in taking control of their health. This enrichment event will be offered on Tuesday, February 28th in Marlette from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will feature two guest presentations. The first presentation will be presented by registered dietician and diabetes educator Lisa Kalbfleisch (pictured). Lisa will provide tips to cut calories with the food you eat and share how much activity is needed to burn calories. The second presentation is an exercise demonstration that will be presented by Deborah Kiley. Deborah will share tips about finding exercise that is right for you and will demonstrate some techniques.
This event will be hosted at the MRH East Campus in Marlette, located at 2861 Main Street. A guest is welcome to attend with participants and refreshments will be provided.
