MRH Welcomes New Doctor to Marlette Family HealthCare ~ Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) welcomes the addition of board-certified family medicine physician Lillian Marzouq, MD to the medical staff. Dr. Marzouq has joined Dr. Jabir Akhtar, family nurse practitioner Shannon Cournaya, MSN, FNP-BC, and the staff of Marlette Family HealthCare.
Dr. Marzouq received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. She has practiced medicine for 20 years and her clinical interests include preventive medicine and adult medicine. Dr. Marzouq shares, “My approach to medicine is to provide the best possible care, educate patients about their health, and prevent future illness. My hope is to form lasting partnerships with my patients to keep them healthy as possible.”
Dr. Marzouq provides primary care medical services to patients of all ages. Her services include, but are not limited to, allergy injections, blood draws for testing, men’s and women’s health care, immunizations, minor surgical procedures, adolescent care, preventive acute and chronic care, sports, school, employment and insurance physical exams, and routine office laboratory testing.
Marlette Family HealthCare will be hosting a Meet & Greet with Dr. Marzouq on Tuesday, May 14 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. in the MRH Seton Lobby. Ice cream floats will be served and (appropriate) beach attire is welcome to fit the theme. The community is welcome to stop in for a float and wish her a warm welcome to the Marlette community!
