Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time Medical Assistant at our Specialty Clinic. We are looking for those who have a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patient.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of patient care related tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider as necessary. Additional tasks include but are not limited to the use of our EMR system, registering patients, insurance verification, scanning medical records, phoning patients with results and proper medical documentation. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care to all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Full Time. Days. No Weekends or Holidays.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, regulations, policies, and functions
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated maturity and the ability to establish good rapport with patients, the public and staff
- Computer and data entry experience necessary; Microsoft Office a plus
- Clinical Competency in phlebotomy, specimen collection, vital measurements, and medication administration
- Great attitude and engages patients with a smile
- Team player and problem solver
- Ability to positively interact at all levels of the organization and with all physicians proactively
