Car Parade for MRH’s Long-Term Care Residents – May 21st 11 AM-Noon

Car Parade for MRH’s Long-Term Care Residents ~ In celebration of National Skilled Nursing Week taking place May 10 – 16, the public is invited to participate in a car parade as a “Tribute to Our Residents” on May 21, 2020 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.

Honoring social distancing, staff will take our long-term care residents outdoors and station them in Marlette Regional Hospital’s back parking lot. Family, neighbors, staff, and others will be invited to drive through the parking lot with home-crafted signs and/or decorated vehicles. Get creative and have fun!

Vehicles will enter Marlette Regional Hospital’s back parking lot from Angle Street and there will be signs to help route the car rally proceeding through the parking lot and exiting on M-53. For the safety of our residents and staff, we ask that during the car parade you do not exit your vehicle. If you would like to give a gift to one of our residents, please drop it off to the hospital’s Main Lobby prior to or after you have paraded your vehicle.

Please join us for this special event that will provide a social opportunity for our long-term care residents! For more information, please call 989-635-4400.
