Subway Employees Raise Funds for B.C.U.P.S. Program

Subway Employees Raise Funds for B.C.U.P.S. Program ~ In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2018 and 2019, Marlette Subway employees hosted a cookie fundraiser with proceeds benefiting a local breast cancer cause. For every dozen cookies sold, one dollar was donated to the B.C.U.P.S. program at Marlette Regional Hospital. B.C.U.P.S. provides free mammogram screenings to uninsured and underinsured patients, financial assistance for diagnostic testing services, and grant funding for breast cancer patients in our local communities.

Subway staff member Iris Howland sold the most cookies—a whopping 102 dozen—followed by her coworkers who also did an exceptional job. Between 2018 and 2019 cookie sales, Subway donated a grand total of $550 to the B.C.U.P.S. program!
Marlette Oil & Gas and the Marlette Regional Hospital Foundation would like to thank Marlette Subway manager, Shannon Deming, for organizing this fundraiser as well as the staff who worked hard to raise these funds for the B.C.U.P.S. program. Thanks are also extended to Subway customers who donated to this worthy cause.
