Thumb Region’s Largest Motorcycle Run Expects to Draw Hundreds of Riders ~ The rumble of motorcycles will echo throughout the communities of Melvin and Marlette on Saturday, August 11th for the 14th annual Hog Town Run—a major fundraising event sponsored by Hog Town Inc. of Melvin, Michigan.

On August 11th, registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Melvin Park located along Main Street in Melvin, MI. A concerted departure will take place at 12 p.m. to travel to the Hospice Residence located at Marlette Regional Hospital in Marlette for a blessing of the bikes. The registration fee (donation) is $20 per person, which includes a $5 raffle ticket. Evening activities will include a pig roast/chicken dinner, bike games, burnouts, live entertainment, and a 50/50 raffle. Rustic camping is available for a donation.
