Outreach Services
Marlette Regional Hospital can assist you in your pursuit of health and wellness. As an extension of our hospital services, our Outreach Specialist, Robin Pingel, is available to assist patients in navigating their health insurance benefits and accessing community resources available in the Thumb Region.

Our Outreach Specialist can assist you by:

  • Determining eligibility for recommended wellness exams and health screenings.
  • Informing you of community resources related to your health needs.
  • Scheduling appointments with our primary care providers.
  • Providing information for upcoming appointments.
  • Reviewing needed pre-diagnostic testing information such as arrival time and fasting requirements.
  • Reviewing vaccination records and well-child visits.

Complex Care Management
Marlette Regional Hospital understands that a life-limiting condition needs close monitoring and additional support beyond your primary care provider. Our care coordinator, Kimberly James, works one-on-one with patients in the health care office setting that have complex medical conditions. In partnership with patients, Kim creates personalized care plans that aim to not only manage the condition, but also to prevent others from developing. In addition to care management, Kim provides health coaching and education so patients are better able to manage their conditions and provide self-care.

If your primary care provider feels that you need additional assistance with managing your condition, he/she will refer you to see Kim at your next health care office appointment.

Nurse Advice Hotline
Not sure if you need to go to the emergency room? Is it after normal business hours and you need medical advice? For Medicare beneficiaries that use one of Marlette Regional Hospital’s family health care offices in Marlette, Brown City, Kingston, Mayville, or North Branch, a nurse advice hotline is now available to give you around-the-clock medical advice and information. A nurse can recommend if an appointment with your doctor, an urgent care clinic, or the emergency room is the best course for treatment in your time of need. A call to the nurse hotline can save you time and money.
