BeaYOUtiful & WELL Behaved Women’s Health Retreat

BeaYOUtiful & WELL Behaved Women’s Health Retreat ~ Hey ladies! When is the last time you did something for yourself? Put your hand up to everyone that relies on you, and said, “No, not today, I need some time to take care of me.” Never, ever do we do that, right? So, for just one night, for just a couple hours, join in some fun at the Marlette Regional Hospital Foundation’s “BeaYOUtiful & WELL Behaved Women’s Health Retreat” taking place at Marlette High School on Thursday, May 10th from 6 to 8 p.m.

In addition to information and vendor booths relating to health, beauty, and pampering, this year’s event will feature guest speakers Cindy Baker, MSN, RN and Kimberly Verellen, MS, PA-C of Marlette Regional Hospital’s family health care offices who will present “Diet Is Not a Dirty Word.” As medical professionals and a past Weight Watchers instructor, these ladies will share valuable information about diets, weight loss, and adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors for overall health and wellness.

Calling all fans of What Not to Wear (formerly broadcast on TLC)! Now through April 16th, self-nominations are being accepted for a “Make-ME-Over” giveaway. The makeover will include a new hairstyle, a makeup demo, and tips for dressing on a budget. The nominee will be randomly drawn at 4 p.m. on April 16th and will be unveiled at this event as part of the evening’s program. The makeover facilitators are local, self-dubbed fashionistas Meredith Lyons and Sara Redman.

Gather your girlfriends for this fun night out designed to improve your health and celebrate what makes YOU beautiful.

This event is free to attend and is open to the public. Refreshments will be served, so RSVPs are appreciated. RSVP to the Marlette Regional Hospital Foundation at 989-635-4011. For more information about this event, please “Like” Marlette Regional Hospital on Facebook.
