5th Annual Dr. Michael Ogboh Memorial 5K Walk/Run Slated for June 9th ~ In a continued effort to celebrate the life of Dr. Michael Ogboh and continue his legacy in the community, the fifth annual Dr. Michael Ogboh Memorial 5K Walk/Run is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in Brown City, MI.
Dr. Ogboh was a highly respected and humble man that worked for the betterment of others. After joining Marlette Regional Hospital in the early ‘90s as a family medicine physician, Dr. Ogboh planted his roots and committed the remainder of his lifetime to the people of the Thumb Area communities. Dr. Ogboh is remembered for his compassion and his dedication. He was a doctor who cared for his family, his hospital family, his patients, and the people of our communities. He lived to help people, and that is how he is remembered today.
We invite you, your friends, and family to participate in this year’s event. Your continued support and participation ensures the success of this community event and the services that are provided by United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital.
The entry fee is $25 and sponsorship opportunities are available. Pre-registered participants will receive an event tee shirt if registered by May 28, 2018.
